Developers Bobby & Renee Girling and Jay Parker, in cooperation with Poteet ISD and Poteet Mayor Willie Leal, Jr., will coordinate a naming contest for the new community. This will include naming of some of the streets as well. Each of the four schools in Poteet will coordinate their entries. The winner will be announced the first week of December. The developers will be donating $7,000 to the Poteet ISD as a part of this contest as well as a pizza party for the class who submits the winning name
